Chung Mei Industries Limited, a member of Chung Mei International Holdings Limited, was established in 1963. Chung Mei is a major and leading manufacturer of small household electrical appliances in Asia. In particular, Chung Mei has been actively involved in the production of kitchen electrics like kettles and espresso coffee makers, ice-makers, air treatment products like heaters and humidifiers, and personal care products like hair dryers and crimpers. Chung Mei manufactures products on an OEM/ODM basis for major international brands like Delonghi and Imetec in Europe, Breville and Goldair in Australia and New Zealand, and Sunbeam, Conair and Vornado in the US. The quality of its products has been well-recognized and the products have gained an excellent reputation in the international market. In addition, Chung Mei also produces off-the-shelf items for its local and overseas clients.

Chung Mei’s manufacturing facility is in Dongguan Province, Southern China. It has the capability to do engineering design, tooling, and production in its own injection moulding, metal stamping, and final assembly departments, meeting the best of industrial designs and performance specifications provided by customers.

In the past few years, Chung Mei has forged strong strategic relationships through joint ventures with some of the major manufacturing companies in the world. In 2002, Chung Mei formed a joint venture with Turk DemirDokum Fabrikalari Inc. Co., a member of the largest industrial company in Turkey, the KOC Group. In 2007, Chung Mei formed another joint venture with SGL Italia srl, a member of the world’s largest vending machine company, N&W Global Vending SpA.
